New mum Chanelle Hayes reveals cosmetic surgery and weight-loss plans

She won't get married until she does...

Chanelle Hayes once said she was happy with her fuller figure and had no interest in losing weight – for a video, or otherwise.

After being pregnant for a second time, she changed her mind and admitted she did want to get into shape.

And Chanelle is holding firm on that promise to herself – she is desperate to get slim for her upcoming wedding with partner Ryan.

Chanelle – who’s currently a size 16-18 – told Closer magazine: “Before I found out I was pregnant, my plan was to get down to a size 10 by my 30th birthday in November. That’s not going to happen now, but I want to lose weight.

“I’ve never felt less sexy in my life. Ryan’s so supportive and he loves me whatever size I am. I’d love to get married, but only when I’ve lost weight. I can’t wait to feel sexy again.”

She then elaborated on how her body has changed since her second son, Frankie, arrived last month.

“Since having Frankie, I’m more wobbly,” she explained. “I’ve got stretch marks on my stomach and my boobs are flat – empty Z-cups!

“I bend over to dry my legs after a shower, and my belly is touching my knees.”

She explained to the magazine that she may have her DD boobs lifted, as well as undergoing a hairline transplant to fix the hairloss caused by her anaemia.

If she does decide to go through with the surgery, it won’t be the first time she’s had work done following a pregnancy.

After she gave birth to her first son Blakely – whose father is former Middlesbrough footballer Matthew Bates – it was reported that she’d flown to Belgium for liposuction work costing £4,500. And she also had a breast-enhancement operation.

Speaking to Closer shortly after that surgery in 2011, she revealed: “I’m much happier now. I wouldn’t say I’m 100 per cent happy but I’m more comfortable.

“I don’t feel like a big, fat beast. So it’s a new year, new hair, new body – new, new, new.”

But after she became pregnant with Frankie, the Manchester-born star admitted that piling on the pounds damaged her confidence.

Appearing on This Morning, she said: “I know there’s so much talk about post-natal depression, but it can also make you feel bad when you’re pregnant – especially when you’re not happy with your body.”

Chanelle – who has polycystic ovaries – suffered severe morning sickness during her recent pregnancy, and looked like she was about to vomit when she appeared on the ITV show.

She told Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford: “I don’t feel very well, sorry. I feel really sick.”
