Natasha Hamilton has said she felt "violated" after accusing a man of pushing his genitals against her on a train.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, the former Atomic Kitten singer told her fans she was left "shaking" and "appalled" by the man's alleged behaviour towards her.
After the alleged incident happened, Natasha, 36, said she planned to report the man to the transport police.
She wrote: "This vile excuse of a man just had his penis pushed up against me while on the overground train from London Bridge heading to Elmstead Woods.
"I though[t] it was a bag until I felt him heavy breathing down my neck. I am appalled and calling the Transport Police when I get off!"
In a separate tweet, Natasha added: "Honestly I am shaking a feel so violated now! But more than anything I am so angry!!
"I had the opportunity to take his picture before he left the train - this has to stop happening to people!"
The British Transport Police later replied to Natasha's tweet, providing their contact details for her to report the incident.
Honestly I am shaking a feel so violated now!
They said in a statement to ED!: "British Transport Police are aware of a report on social media of a sexual assault on a train to Bromley yesterday (10/10/18).
"Officers are making enquiries into this incident – which is believed to have occurred on a Southeastern train to Elmstead Woods - as part of an investigation.
"We take every report of unwanted sexual behaviour with the utmost of seriousness – and through our Report It To Stop It campaign we are encouraging victims to come forward to tell us what happened. You can do this by using our simple and discreet 61016 text service or by calling us on 0800 40 50 40.
"Thankfully, the rail network is a CCTV rich environment and we use every opportunity to use this crucial evidence to help prosecute suspects. We also work tirelessly to combat sexual offences by running covert patrols across the rail network with plain clothed officers."
ED! has contacted Natasha's rep for further comment.
