Nadia Sawalha sobs on Loose Women after message from husband saying she “saved his life”

Her husband Mark made a video message to thank his wife

Nadia Sawalha has made no secret that her marriage has had its ups and downs.

The 52-year-old and husband Mark Adderley have previously discussed his battle with alcoholism and depression, but Mark has now made a video message to thank Nadia for all she has done for him.

During Loose Women on Wednesday, a video of Mark played on the show and he thanked her for her love and support throughout their married life.

He said: “I just wanted to send you a message and say such an enormous thank you for everything you’ve been over the years and everything you’ve done over the years.

“Your support, care and generosity, your knowledge of how to step forward, how to step back.

“You’ve helped me help our family.

“You’ve helped our family.

“You have without a doubt in many, many ways saved my life. So, from the bottom of my mental health Mark heart, I send you all my love and gratitude.”

Right before they showed the video, Nadia called her partner her “hero” after discussing Loose Women’s brand new venture, the Lighten The Load Awards. It’s all in aid of mental health, which the panellists are big supporters of.

“My hero is my lovely husband Mark who allows me to talk often about his sobriety, his 13 years sober and alcoholism,” she said.

“He’s been so brave talking online as well about his depression.

“Mark has been my absolute rock. There is a whole lot of stuff that goes on with me as well, and my mental health.

“I just couldn’t function without his support or all the stuff he has taught me.

“He’s my hero.”

What a gorgeous couple!
