Michelle Keegan: “I would love people to hate me!”

Only someone that's always been popular would say that...

As Tina in Corrie, Georgie in Our Girl… as herself in real life… Michelle Keegan is always super-likeable.

But here’s a thing, the gorgeous actress has admitted she harbours desires for us all to hate her!

Speaking about her career to Glamour Magazine, the 29-year-old admitted: “I want to do a really dark role next, not a villain but something dangerous.

“I’ve always been a well-liked actor and I would love people to hate me!”

Wow. We can kind of understand why – as an actor, she’ll definitely not want to be typecast and all the best roles always involve the darker side of life!

During the Facebook Live chat, she discussed reprising her role of Corporal Georgie Lane in Our Girl.

And there’s amazing news for fans of the BBC One drama – the next series will have double the amount of episodes, jumping from five to 10.

As always there has been plenty of speculation about Michelle’s personal life this week.

One report suggested she and husband Mark Wright were exploring cult religion Scientology in a bid to break America.

A rep for the couple was quick to deny this rumour, stating: “This story was completely denied to the Daily Star Sunday on Friday. It is completely untrue. Mark and Michelle are absolutely not considering Scientology.”

And, while earlier in the year, everyone seemed obsessed with the state of the pair’s marriage, now the focus is on when they will start a family.

When asked recently about having children, she replied: “I love children. I always say I’m broody. We’re not planning anything just yet.”

This must have bruised her mother-in-law Carol a little, as last week she told new! magazine it would happen “soon”.
