Rumours about a third pregnancy began swirling at the start of the year and in March, Michael confirmed the happy news himself on stage at the Juno Awards in Canada.

He told the audience: “You have filled me up with joy, love and luck. Five years ago I was here and you brought me luck as my wife was pregnant with my first child.

“Now you did it again! My wife and I are pregnant with our number three.”

On the red carpet, Michael’s actress wife Luisana debuted her baby bump for the first time, wearing a tight black dress that highlighted her growing stomach.

The couple’s world was rocked in 2016 when their eldest son Noah was diagnosed with cancer.

Michael cancelled all work commitments to focus on his family and, the following year, the family released a statement saying Noah was “progressing well” after treatment.
