That first Christmas with your partner's family can be nerve-wracking at the best of times. But when your other half's grandmother happens to be the Queen, that's on a different level altogether.
Well, according to Closer magazine, Prince Harry's squeeze Meghan Markle might just be pulling a cracker with Her Majesty this year, with the monarch reportedly having asked the US actress to join the royals for their festive celebrations.
A source claims that both Meghan and her MUM have been invited to the festive lunch. And if the reports are true, the odds of another royal wedding are sure to be slashed.
Harry, 33, has been dating Meghan, 36, for almost 18 months, and last week the MailOnline set tongues wagging by claiming that the Suits star will be moving to London imminently.
The report suggested that she's relocating to the capital to carry out her charity work – but living so close to her royal beau can only be good for the relationship, right?
And being welcomed into the palace for Christmas dinner would be a sure sign that Meghan has been accepted into the family.
Kate's offered to put Doria up in a guest bedroom at Anmer Hall.
The actress, who began courting Harry in June 2016, is said to be 'thrilled' with the invitation (who wouldn't be?).
And according to the Closer report, she might even have her mum Doria in tow. It's claimed that none other than Kate Middleton has offered to put the actress's mother up during her stay.
"Kate's offered to put Doria up in a guest bedroom at Anmer Hall [on the Sandringham estate]," said the magazine's source.
"Kate was a bag of nerves the first time she did Christmas with the royals, so she knows exactly how daunting it must be for Meghan."
Back in September, Meghan spoke candidly about her blossoming relationship with Prince Harry.
In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, she said: "We're two people who are really happy and in love."
But as yet, there's been no official announcement of the couple getting engaged.
And fans of the royals were left reeling after a recent documentary, Prince Harry and Meghan: Truly Madly Deeply, seemed to insinuate that marriage was imminent.
One viewer fumed: "ITV have missed the mark with this one. Load of tosh. Nothing but speculation. Leave the kids alone."
Well, let's see what happens after Christmas...
