Meghan Markle’s half-sister has used the opportunity of the Duchess’s birthday to take a swipe at her – comparing her to Disney villain, Cruella DeVil.
Samantha Markle has never shied away from expressing her opinions about her estranged royal sister, and now she’s made another dig – accusing Meghan of ignoring their father’s birthday.

Reports have suggested that Meghan and her father, Thomas, haven’t spoken to each other since before her wedding in May.
The estrangement came after Thomas was found to have been paid for paparazzi photos. After giving several revealing interviews to the press, he has claimed he’s been cut off from contact with Meghan.
Samantha and Meghan haven’t been in contact for years – but that hasn’t stopped the Duchess’s sister from weighing in on Meghan’s life.
Now she’s taken to Twitter to accuse Meghan of neglecting their father – by refusing to send him a birthday card.
“Happy Birthday Meg! It would be so lovely and appropriate of you to send DAD a BELATED birthday card for his July 18 th @Kensingtonroyal Cheers!” Samantha said.
The tweet came after Samantha had joked about her sister and Prince Harry’s intention of retreating from the media – calling Meghan Cruella DeVil.
“OK so Cruella de Vil is retreating LOL let me know how that works out for you,” she said.
Thomas has pushed himself into the public eye ever since his daughter’s engagement, giving high-profile interviews about Meghan and Harry.

He’s made claims surrounding Prince Harry’s views on Brexit, and the election of President Trump which, if accurate, constitute a breach of royal protocol.
While he claims he wants to repair his relationship with his daughter, this media interaction isn’t helping.
But if Samantha’s tweets are anything to go by, it seems like someone else might be ready to shoulder the burden.
