This little apple certainly hasn't fallen far from the tree

Martine McCutcheon has posted the sweetest video of two-year-old son Rafferty Jack playing an inflatable guitar.

The curly-haired toddler held the toy in his hand while pretending to play, and sang along to DJ Otzi’s hit Hey Baby (Uhh, Ahh).

What a song!

The former EastEnders actress has recently made her comeback as a singer, launching a brand new album a few weeks ago.

She is back on form, but it hasn’t been easy.

Her career was at full speed during her Love Actually days, and then she landed the leading role in My Fair Lady, but she was so stressed she made herself sick.

Martine ended up contracting ME (myalgic encephalopathy) after going bankrupt in 2013 and said that she “couldn’t move out of bed for days”.

The actress also admitted to having suicidal thoughts. “Every muscle in my body ached, I felt like I had a permanent hangover, and then I started not being able to move my legs, which was terrifying… I do believe I literally crippled myself with stress,” she revealed.

“I woke up in bed one day not knowing what time it was, feeling boiling hot and not being able to get up to open a window. I remember saying to myself: ‘It will be better if you don’t wake up.’

“I would tell Jack to leave me, to find someone else. He had to wash my hair, put me in the shower, feed me.

“I was given a wheelchair by a doctor but I refused to get in it because I knew if I did I would never get out, so it was kept in the corner of the room like a warning…

“No one could work out what was wrong with me. I was spending thousands of pounds on doctors and specialists and no one could give me a proper answer.”

However, now Martine is better than ever.

After battling some demons from her past, one of which was her father abandoning her as a child, she is now thinking about returning to the acting world.

“I’m taking it slowly, just seeing what is going to happen. I’m just very grateful people actually remember me and seem to want to hear what I have to say.”

McCutcheon says she regrets nothing that has happened in her life. “I have learnt from the good, the bad and the ugly,” she said. “I went so far down I never thought I would come back up again. I lost myself. I’ve found myself. I’m back.”
