Lucy Mecklenburgh has posted a rare picture of herself with boyfriend Ryan Thomas on Instagram to wish her boyfriend a Happy Birthday.
The soap actor celebrated his 34th birthday with friends and family at the Parklife Festival over the weekend.
Lucy, 26, shared a snap of the couple caught sharing a kiss backstage. The crowd for the gig can be seen behind them as well as a Ferris wheel.
“Happy birthday my love,” she captioned the snap using a heart emoji.
Many of her fans also wished Adam a Happy Birthday as they commented on the “lovely” and “adorable”photo.
“You two melt my heart,” one fan told them.
“You two are the cutest,” said another.
“Hurry up and get married you two, you look so perfect together,” said a third.
Fitness fan Lucy also updated her Stories with an image of them together to celebrate the special occasion.
It’s not often Lucy shares images with Ryan, who she met a year ago when they both appeared on Bear Grylls: The Island.
She told Fabulous magazine that despite meeting in the public eye, they prefer to keep their personal life private as much as possible.
“[Keeping things private] just feels very natural for both of us, which is quite ironic cos we met on a TV show, but it’s just happened,” she explained.
“It’s about growing up, I think. We’ve both had public relationships, and there’s less pressure when we have things in our life that are private. It feels more special.”
She added that their relationship is “really good. I’m really happy and I’m in a great place.”
Ryan was previously in a relationship with his Corrie co-star Tina O’Brien, with whom he has a daughter, Scarlett, nine.

Lucy has famously dated her TOWIE co-star Mario Falcone and Olympic gymnast Louis Smith.
Meanwhile, the birthday boy also shared the same festival picture of himself with Lucy with his Instagram followers. He simply captioned it with a heart emoji.
In another post, he shared an image of himself with his brother Adam and their friends at the gig, thanking them for helping him celebrate his big day.
“From one brother to another with a pinch of @stroxler and a dash of @nahyates thank you boys a birthday to remember,” he wrote.

Former Emmerdale actor Adam also shared the picture, writing: “What a birthday what a human love you unconditionally you are the reason I smile thank you for the love and your generous heart my brother what a day !!! Thank you to @nahyates for the hospitality as per your a good man bro much love.”
Over the summer, he will celebrate his 30th birthday with a big party with his twin brother Scott in Manchester.
