Former couple Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall have shared sweet messages to celebrate their daughter Sienna-Rae’s fifth birthday.
Hollyoaks star Lucy-Jo shared a photo to Instagram on Friday morning showing her daughter playing with her new toys before going to school.
Lucy-Jo, 35, revealed Sienna-Rae “wasn’t keen on going to school” and wanted to stay at home and play with her birthday gifts.

In the photo, Sienna-Rae is seen dressing one of her dolls.
Doting mum Lucy-Jo gushed: “My baby girl is now a big girl…. I can’t believe she’s 5 today!!!!! I do not know where that time has gone?
“She wasn’t so keen on going to school this morning bless her… she just wanted to stay at home and play with her new toys!!! Well who wouldn’t?”
The actress added the hashtags, “#mydaughter, #purelove, #princesssienna and #ijustloveher.”
Lucy-Jo has Sienna-Rae with Coronation Street actor ex Alan.
Alan, who plays Tyrone Dobbs in Corrie, also penned a loving birthday tribute to his daughter on Instagram.
He posted a snap of Sienna-Rae’s mermaid Barbie birthday cake, which had “Happy 5th birthday Sienna-Rae” written along the bottom in icing.
Alan wrote: “I can’t believe that my beautiful little princess is 5 today. Time really does fly when you are a parent, but I cherish every moment with you Sienna-Rae.
“You are my happiness, my strength and my whole world.”
Earlier this week, Lucy-Jo joined other celebrity parents marking their kids going back to school.
The actress posted a photo of her little girl in the playground as she started her very first day at school.
The pic sees Sienna-Rae smiling in her school uniform, as Lucy-Jo wrote: “I’m joining all you mummies with the ‘First Day at School’ pic.
“I am beyond proud of my gorgeous girl…. she skipped into school with a great big smile on her face. How has she started reception already?”
She added: “I’m gonna miss my girl…. I’ve been spoilt having her at home for 7 weeks.”
Lucy-Jo, who played Katy Harris in Corrie, confirmed her split from Alan in May.
The pair said it was a mutual decision and they remain close friends.
A statement issued by Lucy-Jo at the time said: “I can confirm that Al and I are divorcing. We remain friends and devoted mummy and daddy to our daughter Sienna.

“We would appreciate privacy so that we can focus on Sienna’s continued happiness.”
The couple met when Lucy played Katy on Corrie between 2002-2005. She went on to star in Wild At Heart and Doctors.
They married in 2009 and had Sienna-Rae in 2013.
