Love Island’s Montana Brown is ‘making a bid to join Loose Women panel’

She's also just been announced as UK ambassador for Pretty Little Thing

Love Island’s Montana Brown is reportedly determined to join the Loose Women panel – and has signed a top celebrity talent agency to help make her dreams come true.

After spending her summer soaking up the sun in the Love Island villa, the 21-year-old from Hertfordshire is apparently ready to get down to the important business of just how she capitalises on her TV fame.

And according to The Mirror, her ultimate goal is to join the likes of Katie Price, Stacey Solomon and Andrea McLean on Loose Women.

She got her first taste of what life as a Loose Woman could be like last week, when she joined the show as a guest to chat about Love Island and life after the villa.

Montana was quite open about signing up to Love Island because of the doors it would open up afterwards.

“I just thought it would be a really good platform for me to do what I want to do,” she said.

“I don’t know what that is yet, but I just thought it would open some doors and maybe some opportunities as well.”

But a source claimed Montana totally knows what she wants to do – join Loose Women!

“Her dream is to join the panel. She made that clear to bosses when she appeared on the show,” said the insider.

“She feels as a modern young woman she can bring something to the panel and being a former economics student, she is clued up on the world.”

The newspaper’s spy claims that Montana’s new bosses want to shed her image as a Love Islander – which included having sex with boyfriend Alex Beattie on TV.

And speaking of Alex, the source also alleges that Montana’s been advised Alex “may not be the right candidate” as a boyfriend, if she’s determined to make her Loose Women and career dreams come true.

“If his face doesn’t fit with their plans, she will need to give him the chop,” claimed the (harsh) insider.

That may not be an issue, however, as there have been rumours floating around that Montana and Alex have already called it quits.

It was reported the pair split after leaving the villa, with a source telling The Sun: “Montana is keen to follow her dreams as a TV presenter and has been attending meetings this week.

“She doesn’t like partying so personal appearances in nightclubs aren’t really her thing. Montana is ambitious and very much a career woman – her relationship with Alex is going to take a back seat.”

But Montana and Alex steadfastly insisted during the Love Island reunion show that they were still very much together.

However, in an interview with The Sun last week, Montana then hinted at a parting of ways when she said: “We are doing our thing at the moment.

“I don’t know if we will have time or be able to do any joint shoots in the future.”

Whatever is going on between them, it’s clear that going into Love Island has done wonders for both Montana and Alex’s careers.

Montana was announced last week as the first UK celebrity brand ambassador for clothing company Pretty Little Thing, and she’s off to Los Angeles next week to start working for them.

Alex, meanwhile, has landed a six-figure modelling deal with another fashion brand, Boohoo.

Not bad for a few weeks’ work lounging in the sun in Majorca!
