Former Eternal star Louise is getting ready to take to the stage, as she recently confirmed she’ll be appearing on the West End in Dolly Parton’s musical, 9 to 5.

The musical is based on the 1980 film of the same name, and has never appeared on the West End before, although it did tour the UK back in 2012.

She’ll be playing the part of Violet – who was portrayed by Lily Tomlin in the original film.

Louise posted a promo for the show online, that featured Dolly Parton phoning the various members of the show’s cast to call them in to work.

“So excited to announce that I’ll be playing Violet in @DollyParton’s @9to5TheMusicalUK in the West End!” she said.

Louise shared an image with her castmates Brian Conley, Amber Davies, and Natalie McQueen, who’ll be playing Doralee, Dolly’s character from the film.

9 to 5 is just the latest in a string of projects for Louise – she’s also launched a furniture range with Harveys.

The projects appear to show that the revitalisation of her career won’t be stopping any time soon.

After a few years out of the spotlight, raising her children with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, she’s made a blazing return to performing.

After finishing Strictly Come Dancing as runner-up two years ago, she took on the iconic role of Sally Bowles in Cabaret, before returning to her pop career with a string of live shows last year.
