Lorraine Kelly throws cheeky shade at Piers Morgan after he’s mistaken for Colin Firth

We wonder what Piers wills say?!

Lorraine Kelly has poked fun at Piers Morgan’s recent claim he was mistaken for Hollywood actor Colin Firth.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 52, seemed utterly chuffed last week when a British Airways employee confused him with heartthrob Colin, 57.

He tweeted: “‘Good morning, Mr Firth!’ – British Airways. 1st Class check-in desk lady to me just now. THIS is why I always fly BA.”

Well, Lorraine found this highly amusing!

Lorraine wrote in her The Sun column that she’d had a giggle when she saw her ITV colleague’s tweet.

“I had a good old chortle when the shy, retiring Piers Morgan, tweeted that one of the ground staff at British Airways got him mixed up with Colin Firth,” she said.

“While obviously being grateful that it wasn’t one of the pilots who made this unimaginable error, I simply could not imagine a more unlikely case of mistaken identity.”

However, the Scottish star went on to say her attitude changed somewhat when actor Max Beesley, a guest on her ITV show yesterday, compared her to Hollywood megastar Jennifer Lopez!

“Obviously I’ve booked him into Specsavers but I cannot deny that it made my day,” said Lorraine.

It would make our day, too!

Max was on Friday’s episode of Lorraine to chat about the new series of his drama, Jamestown, when he made the flirty remark.

The Ordinary Lies star said: “I’m not being funny, by the way, but have you ever been told you look like Jennifer Lopez?”

Lorraine chided: “Behave yourself… Jennifer Lopez’s great aunt who has been dead for five years!”

But Max insisted Lorraine “looked great” and that he got a “J-Lo vibe” from her!

He added: “I have met J-Lo. And she’s amazing.”

Lorraine simply replied: “You’ve made my day now.”
