'Live with Kelly and Ryan' Co-Host Hospitalized

The star shared a photo from a hospital bed to Instagram.

Ryan Seacrest was hospitalized on Monday for treatment to deal with ongoing shoulder pain.

The Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host, 43, shared a snap to Instagram showing himself lying in a hospital bed wearing a medical cap and gown.

"Seeking shoulder pain relief," Ryan captioned the post.

Showing he was keeping his spirits up, Ryan then cracked a joke about his old hairstyle.

He added, "My cap and gown reminds me of the days at the salon getting frosted tips."

What happened. I'm praying for you right now.

In the photo, the American Idol host was sitting up in a hospital bed with an IV linked into his hand. Fans were worried about Ryan, immediately expressing their concerns in the comments section.

One person wrote, "Are you okay? What happened. I'm praying for you right now."

Another said, "Oh no!! I hope you find some comfort soon," while a third added, "I hope you are okay."

Ryan's co-host, Kelly Ripa, also commented on the snap as she quipped, "Sweetie, the gown opens in the front."

Others wished Ryan a speedy recovery, writing, "Get better soon." Another added. "Prayers for a speedy recovery."

Thankfully, it seems everything was okay seeing as Ryan gave a thumbs up in the picture.

It's been a busy few weeks for Ryan recently as he traveled to the Bahamas with Kelly to host Live, as well as filming for ABC's American Idol reboot.

Ryan and Kelly left behind the winter chills of New York City to film their show from Atlantis Paradise Island.

As well as enjoying the natural beauty of the Bahamian islands, the pair soaked up the sun while interviewing a range of celebrity guests.

Now back in the United States, Ryan has been busy preparing for American Idol.

Ryan will be hosting the revival season, set to premiere on March 11 , while Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan will act as judges.
