Lisa Armstrong looks glam as she returns to work on Strictly

The new series of Strictly begins September 8 on BBC One

Lisa Armstrong shared a new pic with Instagram followers as she returned to work on Strictly Come Dancing.

The award-winning beauty guru is head of make-up and hair on the BBC One entertainment show, which launched its new series on Monday night with a glamorous event.

The brand new batch of celebrities including Katie Piper, Lee Ryan and Faye Tozer donned their sparkles, fake tan and glitter to walk the red carpet at the Strictly 2018 launch party.

And that meant Lisa was hard at work behind the scenes making sure everyone’s hair and make-up was perfect!

She shared a selfie to Instagram on Monday alongside celebrity hairstylist Lisa Davey, telling fans: “And we’re back!!”

Lisa and Lisa were seen posing in front of a dressing room table laden with beauty products – basically a make-up lover’s dream!

Fans told Lisa they couldn’t wait to see the new series of Strictly and how she makes up the celeb dancers this year.

One wrote: “Can’t wait for new series, looking absolutely beautiful Lisa.”

Another said, “Yay!!!! I can’t wait to see all your fab stuff! I’m watching for all tips”, while a third added: “You look lovely! Keep smiling Lisa! We all look forward to Strictly and admiring your work on the lovely ladies (and men)!!”

Another batch of 15 celebrities will take to the dance floor when the new series of Strictly kicks off this autumn.

Last night’s event was the official launch party to introduce the stars to the media, get them into their Strictly outfits for the first time, and basically drum up excitement!

The celebs’ pro dancing partners for the new series have not been announced yet.

The new line-up consists of television presenter and campaigner Katie, former EastEnders actor and Blue singer Lee, Steps member Faye and newsreader Kate Silverton.

Also taking part are Capital FM DJ Vick Hope, YouTuber Joe Sugg, Casualty’s Charles Venn, fashion expert Susannah Constantine, This Morning’s Dr Ranj Singh and Red Dwarf’s Danny John-Jules.

The line-up is completed by comedian Seann Walsh, cricketer Graeme Swann, Pussycat Dolls’ Ashley Roberts, documentary maker Stacey Dooley and Paralympian Lauren Steadman.

Strictly returns to BBC One on Saturday, September 8.
