Lisa Armstrong has offered to do a bride’s wedding make-up after the person she’d booked to do it fell through.
The Strictly Come Dancing make-up and hair chief was contacted by the bride on Twitter after her wedding make-up plans were thrown up the air with just TEN days to go.
The bride tweeted at Lisa: “Fancy doing my bridal make up in Essex? The woman who was due to it has messed me about.”

Lisa, who is known for chatting with followers and responding to their messages, immediately replied: “When is it Hun? #happytohelpifican xx.”
The desperate bride said the big day is August 28, just ten days away, explaining: “Running out of time. I was going to do it myself but I’m awful on a good day!”
Well, Lisa was quick to reassure the bride she wouldn’t have to do it alone, offering to attend the wedding with an assistant to do the entire bridal party’s make-up!
She told the bride: “Well we can’t have that on your special day.”
After gathering some details on where the wedding is and how many people, Lisa said: “Okay, sorted me and my assistant will be there. I’ll DM you now for details.”
She added the hashtag, “can’t let the bride down.”
Naturally the bride was over the moon that Lisa had saved the day! And, no doubt, because she was getting an award-winning celebrity make-up guru to beautify her on the biggest day of her life!
She quipped to Lisa: “That’s so amazing! Thank you so much. More excited about having my make up done that getting married!!!!”
Lisa replied: “Haha that’s funny, we’ll look after you and make you look amazing!!”
Fans were quick to praise Lisa for her generous offer.

Lisa is a hugely in-demand make-up guru who has worked on some of TV’s biggest shows such as Strictly, Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent.
She’s won a Bafta Craft Award for her and her team’s work on Strictly Come Dancing.
