Liam Payne reveals why he and Cheryl haven’t shared pics of baby Bear

He's such a great dad

Liam Payne has opened up in a revealing new interview, and explained why he and girlfriend Cheryl haven’t yet shared any pics of their son, Bear.

In a chat with the Evening Standard’s ES Magazine, the former One Direction star says: “Rather than being pictured and being put in places, I wanna give him the chance [of a life outside of the public eye]. If I take it away from him now, he never has the chance to go back.”

He adds that he and Cheryl, 34, are “in full agreement” that Bear should be kept out of the public eye.

The X Factor star, whose new single ‘Familiar’ is out 20 April, was just 14 when he appeared on Simon Cowell’s talent show.

Ten years later, the 24-year-old says he wants his young son to make his own choices about fame as he gets older.

Liam also revealed his adorable nickname for Bear to be “The Sunshine”, adding that he’d been on babysitting duty on his own the night before.

The interview follows reports that Cheryl, 34, is hoping to launch a high-profile TV career.

The Sun Online claims the Geordie star is in talks with a TV presenting agency, Independent 360, who have Strictly judge Bruno Tonioli, The One Show’s Alex Jones and presenter Mel Giedroyc on their books.

Cheryl has taken a break from the spotlight since the birth of Bear last year, but it sounds like she’s ready to get back with a bang!

The Sun’s source claims: “Bagging high-impact TV roles has become the priority.”

Cheryl is rumoured to be in talks to return as a judge to The X Factor this year, and also recently recorded a pilot for Simon Cowell’s new BBC dance show, The Greatest Dancer.
