Liam, 23, told The Sun: “I see marriage as more of a religious thing and I’m not really a religious person, so I know it’s not really on the cards for me at the moment.

“So no not yet. We have a baby together — you know our love for each other can’t be more serious so it is what it is I guess.”

The couple first met when Liam auditioned for the X Factor when he was just 14-years-old and Cheryl was a judge on the show.

And now nine years later the pair have become an item and welcomed their first child, Bear, into the world.

Meanwhile former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl broke her Twitter silence for the first time since the birth of her baby boy back in March.

The star has tweeted a message which gave fans a glance into her relationship with Liam.

Writing to her 6.29 million Twitter followers Cheryl wrote: “#LiamPayne #STRIPTHATDOWN this is an emoji test not a personal request.”
