Kelly Brook reveals she proposed to her boyfriend Jeremy Parisi – but he said NO

Not quite the answer she may have wanted!

| Updated:

Kelly Brook has revealed she asked boyfriend Jeremy Parisi to marry her during a recent holiday in the Caribbean.

But rather awkwardly he told her to be quiet as there were too many people nearby!

In a new interview with OK! magazine, the model and actress said she’d proposed to Jeremy while they watched a beautiful sunset in Antigua earlier this year.

But he didn’t give her the answer she wanted.

Kelly explained: “When we were in Antigua and the sun was setting and we were up at Shirley Heights I said to Jeremy, ‘Will you marry me?’

“He said, ‘Be quiet there are people around!’ So I tried to propose but he said it was too busy and told me to be quiet!

“I’ve asked him, but it wasn’t private enough!'”

However, before you start feeling sorry for poor Kelly, she told the mag she wasn’t really serious, and it had been more of a spur of the moment joke.

Kelly, 38, has been dating actor Jeremy for more than three years now and has spoken in the past about wanting to marry him but not being in a rush.

Appearing on Loose Women in January, she said: “I would love to marry my boyfriend, he’s lovely, he can ask me if he wants.”

Emphasising there is no rush, however, she told Hello magazine last year: “We’re not putting any pressure on ourselves. We’re not engaged, we’ve got no plans to marry. We’re happy and just enjoying what we have.”

Kelly has previously been engaged to Hollywood actors Billy Zane and Jason Statham, ex-Gladiator David McIntosh and rugby player Thom Evans.

Meanwhile, the star gave an emotional interview last month over her fears she’s left it too late to have children.

She said on Loose Women: “I think coming from a very working-class family and seeing my mum and dad struggle for so many years, it was very much a case of being independent, having my own money and buying my own house.

“I spent so much of my time focused on my career and making money that having a family was left behind.

“Now I’m in my late-30s, I wish I’d thought more about having children earlier, because I do feel like now I’m up against it.

“Yes, I’ve got money and I’ve got my own home and I’ve got my independence and all these amazing things, but I don’t have children and I haven’t got married.

“If I’d known in my 20s how difficult having children would be in my 30s, I think I would’ve made different choices.

“I think women think they can go through their life and have a baby whenever they want. Some can and some can’t, and I don’t think I realised that. I got so caught up in my world.

“And now I don’t even know if I’m going to be able to carry a baby. I don’t know if that’s in my future.”
