Kris said he was brought up to never let a woman pay

Katie Price’s boyfriend Kris Boyson has said he’s not with the former glamour model for money reasons.

The weight loss specialist took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday night to answer fans’ questions which, obviously, included quite a few about his high-profile romance.

One fan asked: “You with Katie for her ££££££ cash?”

Kris answered: “I’ve been brought up to never let a woman pay… so answer your own question then grow up and unfollow me!”

The 29-year-old began dating Katie, 40, after the breakdown of her marriage to third husband Kieran Hayler, 31.

They met via mutual friend, Rykard Jenkins from Love Island, when Katie sought Kris’ advice on creating a training programme for her eldest son Harvey, 16.

Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome that can cause an excessive appetite and overeating, leading to weight gain.

One fan sent a message to Kris on Tuesday saying: “I don’t have a question but just wanted you to know that I think you’re amazing with Harvey.”

Kris replied: “Thank you! He’s the best!”

Meanwhile, Kris also opened up to fans about himself, saying he became a weight loss specialist after experiencing “severe anxiety” in the past.

He said: “I suffered from severe anxiety and couldn’t be in an office environment anymore.”

“You only get one life,” he added. “Be happy.”

One fan asked Kris: “What helped you with anxiety and depression?”

He replied: “Be honest, talk to people, listen to music, concentrate on what makes you happy. But most of all… exercise!”

Kris also touched on his newfound fame after his romance with Katie made him headline news.

He had appeared on the reality show Five Star Hotel before meeting Katie and finding himself a fixture in magazines and tabloids.

One fan asked how it felt to get thousands of likes on his social media posts, to which Kris said: “It’s about the love not the likes. Concentrate on life, not likes.”

His Q&A with fans came after Katie’s finances hearing was adjourned at the High Court for nearly three months.

A judge at the Rolls Building in central London agreed to put off a hearing while the ex-glamour model, formerly known as Jordan, tries to reach an agreement with her creditors.

Katie did not appear at the two-minute hearing herself.

The former I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! star was once said to be worth more than £40 million.

A representative for Katie told the Press Association: “Katie is aware of the hearing and is working with her advisers to resolve her current financial issues.

“She hopes to be in a position to do so and reach agreement with her creditors.”

Judge Barnett, sitting in a specialist insolvency and companies court, was told that Katie and her creditors had agreed to an adjournment of the case to allow time for the consideration of a Individual Voluntary Agreement (IVA).

An IVA is a formal agreement which lets people with debt repay their creditors at an affordable rate, in a bid to avoid bankruptcy.

The judge agreed to adjourn the case until October 30.

Katie has not commented on the situation herself.
