Katie Price ‘clothing brand set to close with just £13 in bank’

The reality television star launched KP Boutique in 2016

Katie Price’s clothing brand could shut down just two years after it launched.

The 40-year-old former glamour model and reality TV star opened KP Boutique Ltd in 2016 but resigned as a company director in June.

Accounts held by Companies House published in March showed the business, formerly known as KP Loungewear Ltd, had just £13 in the bank.

According to Companies House records, a notice has been issued this week which said: “This company has applied to be struck off and dissolved.

“The registrar will proceed unless there is reasonable cause not to, and on dissolution any assets remaining in the company will be passed to the Crown.”

ED! has contacted representatives for Katie for comment.

The mother-of-five, who lives in Sussex, was once estimated to be worth around £40 million and recently announced her television show Katie Price: My Crazy Life is returning to screens.

In a statement earlier this month, Katie said: “Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago. But the only way is up.

“It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.”

Katie has had a tough year after the breakdown of her marriage to third husband Kieran Hayler in May and splitting from her ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson over the summer.

She’s also had her finances dragged through the media, with a bankruptcy hearing recently postponed until December, stories about the state of her mansion, and voluntarily checked into a rehab centre to get help for post-traumatic stress disorder, before leaving and briefly entering a residential clinic, instead.

Her beloved mum Amy was diagnosed with a terminal lung condition earlier this year, also.

Katie was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and released under investigation in October, after her car was found stopped on a street in South East London with signs of damage.

Last month, the star returned to social media on Halloween night after a lengthy break to share photos from her celebrations.

She hadn’t posted on Instagram since September 6.

Katie told fans it was good to be back as she shared images of youngest children Jett, five, and Bunny, four, in their Halloween costumes, alongside herself and mum Amy.

She shares Jett and Bunny with ex Kieran.

Katie is also mum to son Junior, 13, and daughter Princess, 11, from her first marriage to Peter Andre, who had them for Halloween.

She has a 16-year-old son, Harvey, from a previous relationship with Dwight Yorke.
