Katie Price suffers yet another dose of bad luck after terrible year

She's had an absolutely awful year

Katie Price’s nightmare year has continued to get even worse, after she suffered a nasty fall from her horse yesterday.

The former glamour model is well-known as a keen equestrian who owns a fleet of horses and is often seen out riding.

But yesterday, a country ride ended painfully when she took a tumble.

Katie posted an image to Instagram Stories showing a cosy fire and cartoons on the TV, saying she was chilling out with her youngest child, daughter Bunny, three.

She told fans: “After having a bad fall off my horse earlier, nothing better than cuddles with Bunny on the sofa with [the] fire on.”

The 39-year-old didn’t elaborate on how the fall happened or whether she was badly injured.

Katie’s fall came just days after she forced to flee the Loose Women set in tears, after breaking down over her terminally ill mum, Amy.

The star sobbed as she revealed friend Keith Chegwin had died from the same lung condition her mum Amy has been diagnosed with, and his passing had brought home the reality of Amy’s disease.

“The thing is my mum is going to die and I don’t want her to die. She’s getting worse, she’s having to sell her house as she can’t get up the stairs,” said Katie.

“It might be my last Christmas with her.”

“How can my mum die?” she sobbed. “I love my mum so much, I cannot do this.”

Katie’s had, quite frankly, an absolutely atrocious year.

In August, she accused husband Kieran Hayler of having an affair with their kids’ nanny, just three years after he cheated on her with best friend Jane Pountney.

Kieran’s second betrayal came just four days after she suffered a miscarriage.

Then came the devastating news that beloved mum Amy, 64, has been diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a lung condition.

A distraught Katie broke the news to fans via social media, saying: “My mum has been diagnosed with a lung disease called Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), there is unfortunately no known cure for this.

“As a shock to us all, Me and my family are proud to be supporting the British Lung foundation to help support awareness and raising funds for research of IPF.

“With this we can help in other diagnosis and create awareness for people with IPF.

“The condition has an average life expectancy of 3-5 years. There are two known pills which if they work can slow things down.

“My mum is a fighter she is working out every day, going to work and living life to the full please help us in supporting The British Lung foundation so we can make a difference.”

And among that, Katie’s had to deal with the terrifying threat of harm against her disabled teenage son Harvey.

Katie was forced to call the police after an anonymous threat was made against Harvey, 15, warning Katie she must pay £50,000 or he would be attacked.

She ended up cancelling the remaining dates on her UK Q&A tour to focus on her family.

Adding to her heartbreak, last month one of her beloved horses was killed when it escaped its paddock and collided with a car.

In another tragedy, she then had to contend with someone posting images of the dead beast on social media.

Shocking.

It’s no wonder Katie recently told Reveal magazine she can’t wait for 2017 to end, and will be hoping for a happy and positive new year.
