As any mum would tell you, there’s nothing worse than having other people tell you how to bring up your kids.
And Katie Price seems to get more than her fair share of that, with her parenting skills scrutinised by the people on social media on an almost daily basis.
Sure enough, she’s been getting it in the neck again today – this time for posting a video to Instagram of her son Jett playing outside in the cold, in his bare feet.
In the clip, which was shot at night, the four-year-old lad is seen hosing down his little bike, wearing what appear to be pyjamas.
Katie, 39, captioned the clip: “I [love] how my kids just love being outside being free.”
But those social-media hawks were on it like a flash, wagging their proverbial fingers in disapproval.
One frowned: “I hate the thought of him cold. Wellies and coat would be better on a cold November evening.”

Another remarked: “Poor child, soaking herself [sic] in cold water this time of year. Not funny.”
And another scolded: “When it’s real cold outside and you don’t even know your kid is barefoot with a hose? Wtf…”
“Playing out with no coat and cold water could actually cause a common cold… As shivering can depress our immune system which makes us more likely to catch a cold. I’m in agreement that it’s great for him to be outdoors but wrap him up warm,” said someone else.
But not everyone poured scorn on the mum-of-five, and some thought the clip was brilliant.
One fan gushed: “Love the fact you’re so down to earth! He would be screaming if that bothered about the cold, people.”
And another defended the former glamour model by saying: “Wasn’t like the video went on for hours. 10 seconds.

“You’re saying Katie isn’t a responsible mum because you’ve seen 10 seconds into her life. Wow. That tells me what type of mum you are! Shallow.”
Even by her standards, the last few weeks have been turbulent for Katie Price.
Back in October, she announced that she was postponing dates on her nationwide talking tour amid reports that criminals had threatened to kidnap her son Harvey, 15, unless they received a ransom.
But many of those who’d bought tickets were unsympathetic, and it didn’t help matters when Katie then jetted off to Turkey to have dental work done.
Guess this latest outcry is just another thing to add to the list…
