Katie Price has had a pretty rough time of it of late after she opened up to the world that she had discovered that her husband Kieran Hayler had been having an alleged affair with their nanny Nikki Brown.

Then over the weekend, she revealed that her adorable mum Amy is suffering from an incurable lung condition that means she could die within five years.

But while she was discussing the latest drama in her life, Katie dropped a massive bombshell that in the week she found out about Kieran’s infidelity, she also discovered that she had had a miscarriage.

While Andrea was talking about the Kieran situation, Katie chipped in, “…And I had miscarriage four days before. On the Monday I had a miscarriage. Four days later I found out. Now this one – Jesus!”

While this news was shock news to the audience, Andrea revealed that she and the girls already knew about the miscarriage as Katie had told them at the time.

Meanwhile, Amy says she is determined to see her daughter finally settle down and be happy before she “pegs off”.

Katie said that the news of her mother’s illness hasn’t sunk in because her mum is so healthy.

She told the girls that she and sister Sophie went to the doctor with their mum and that she bluntly asked how long Amy had to live.

Amy explained said that she had been living with asthma for a while and told her doctor that the inhalers weren’t working.

Then when she had a chest infection, she had an X-ray and “something came up”.

A specialist later confirmed that she has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a scarring disorder of the lungs that makes breathing hard.

Although Amy’s doctor says the prognosis is three to five years after diagnosis, that can change dependent on treatment and keeping fit.

In spite of the shocking news, Amy says that she is dealing with it in a pragmatic way.

“I’ve got this thing,” she said. “I know I have got it. But as I don’t feel bad, I’m tolerant of it. I think that’s the way we deal with things [in our family], What’s the next stage, what do we do now?”

Although Katie remained her typical cool self, viewers caught her show emotion.

When Amy revealed she was going to start writing letters for her children, Katie tried to keep it together and told her “Don’t start your goodbyes,” adding “You’re not going anywhere yet so chill out!”
