Katie Price has issued some very surprising advice to fellow mum Stephanie Davis

They’re both busy working mums who have endured splits in the public eye.

So perhaps it’s no surprise to hear that Katie Price, 39, has reportedly been dishing out advice to Stephanie Davis, 24.

What is surprising, however, is the nature of the advice…

According to The Sun, mum-of-five Katie has been quietly encouraging Stephanie to step away from the spotlight and just focus on her son Caben, 10 months.

Yes. You read that right: that shy wallflower Katie Price has been advising someone to avoid the limelight.

An insider claimed: “[Katie] gave Stephanie some words of wisdom after inviting her to her home, telling her to take a break from the spotlight and concentrate on spending time with her son.

“Stephanie really respects Katie and has listened to her – she has been in the business for years and is a mother herself so knows what she is talking about.”

We’ve no doubt Katie is a beacon of showbiz knowledge and knows what she’s talking about… but telling Steph to stay out of the limelight seems the direct opposite of what she’s doing herself!

Katie announced in a newspaper interview last month she was divorcing husband Kieran Hayler, 30, after he confessed to bedding their children’s nanny.

Since then, she’s been continuing with her UK tour (and spilling all the deets on her private life), popping up on red carpets, appearing on her regular Loose Women slot, and all over social media.

Basically she’s not heeded her own advice to lie low…

Stephanie, meanwhile, has actually been lying pretty low already (well, compared to Katie, anyway) since her split from on-off boyfriend Jeremy McConnell earlier this year.

She’s rarely been on screen, has avoided red carpets and her only social media posts are gushing declarations of love for son Caben.

So essentially Katie’s advice to Stephanie is to keep doing what she’s already doing!

Katie no doubt sees a bit of herself in Stephanie given Steph fell for Jeremy while cooped up in the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2016, while Katie famously found love with first husband Peter Andre on I’m A Celebrity.

And it’s not the first time Katie’s said to have swooped in to help Stephanie.

In 2016, while Steph was pregnant with Caben, speculation surfaced that the two women had been in touch.

A source told Closer mag: “Katie and Steph are incredibly close now – she’s like a big sister to her. She’s told Steph to make sure she thinks of herself and her future – and that includes choosing the right man.

“Steph is hanging on to Katie’s every word – she’s totally in awe of her and is doing everything she says because she really values her advice.”

It’s good to know someone has Steph’s back.
