Katie Price was forced to have a mini face lift after a previous thread face lift left her looking “distorted”, according to her agent.
The former glamour model’s rep confirmed to New magazine that Katie, 39, is currently recovering after having to go under the knife again to correct the results of a previous op.
Her rep said the mini face lift, done by Katie’s favourite surgeon in Belgium, was needed to fix the “damage” left when she had the thread from her previous surgery removed.

“The work she’s done this time was restorative work so she could get back to looking like her,” said Katie’s agent.
“She was really upset at the time. It knocked her confidence completely, but she feels better already.”
Katie is currently recovering from the surgery and is said to already be happy with the results.
“She’s got swelling but she’s fine,” said her rep. “She feels better already. She can tell the difference straight away.”
Katie’s rep also hit out at trolling Katie received following the initial surgery last year, saying the model had a “distorted” look at the time because the op didn’t go as she hoped, rather than her wanting to look as she did.
Katie first revealed back in February she was having surgery to correct a face op that had previously “gone wrong”.
In a chat with the Cambridge Union, she said: “People have surgery to look like me even though my surgery went wrong and I’m getting it sorted on Wednesday.”
Katie then told the Sun On Sunday that “maybe, with hindsight” she should have researched her initial face lift surgery more, after claiming in September her face had been left messed up by the op.
“Choosing the right place to do the right procedure is vital,” she said.
“Maybe, with hindsight, I should have thought twice before jumping in. I wasn’t happy with the outcome last time and didn’t like the way I looked.”
She also vowed she’ll never have surgery on her face again.
And after going under the knife in Belgium to correct the previous surgery, Katie told the Daily Mail she is happy with the results.
“I feel instantly better,” she said, crediting her surgeon Frank Plovier for helping rebuild her confidence.
Katie is known for her cosmetic enhancements, which have been well-documented over the years.
Among them have been several breast enhancements and reductions, gleaming veneers and lip fillers.

During her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother back in 2015, Katie said: “I’m a fan of plastic surgery, that’s obvious. If I was going to give advice to someone then it would be to research properly and be careful who you put your trust in.
“I wish I knew that when I was younger because I could’ve saved myself a lot of heartache and surgery.”
