They call Christmas the season of goodwill – and it sounds like one or two troubled couples are using this coming festive period as an opportunity to patch up their differences.
First, Coleen Rooney issued a statement on Facebook saying that she still loves her hubby Wayne Rooney, despite him being caught drink-driving with another woman in the passenger seat.
And now, it sounds like Katie Price is following Coleen’s lead by holding out a MASSIVE olive branch to her cheating fella Kieran Hayler.
According to a report in The Sun, the mum-of-five, 39, has invited both Kieran AND his folks to join her for a family Christmas.
Just a few months ago, the outlook appeared bleak for Katie and Kieran, amid rumours that they were going to get divorced following his affairs with Katie’s then-best mate Jane Pountney and the couple’s nanny Nikki Brown.
However, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain earlier this month, the former glamour model suggested that she and Kieran, 30, were still living together.
She said: “People want to know am I still with him or not? Unless you see a removal van going down the drive…”
And in the past few weeks, the pair have reportedly been seen out and about together at a charity boxing match and a Halloween event.

But nothing says ‘forgiveness’ quite like inviting someone to enjoy a festive turkey dinner with you.
A ‘source’ told The Sun: “Katie has invited Kieran and his parents to spend Christmas with her and the kids in her house – and they’ll all be there on the day.
“Everyone’s saying this is the biggest sign that she’s taken Kieran back, because it’s one thing for him to see his kids on Christmas Day, but to have his entire family there is another.”
It sounds like it won’t be quite a full house at the Prices’. According to the report, Katie’s kids with Peter Andre – Princess and Junior – will be enjoying Christmas with their dad this year.
But that would still leave seven of them: Katie, Kieran and Kieran’s parents, along with Katie and Kieran’s two kids, Jett and Bunny, and Katie’s son with footballer Dwight Yorke, Harvey.
And by the sound of things, the Loose Women star would be in her element.

The source continued: “Katie always goes really over the top at Christmas, and buys loads of gifts and decorates the house. And she’s saying she wants a ‘proper family Christmas’ this year.”
If the report is true, it might just be the best present that Kieran gets…
