Josie Gibson has shared the first photographs of her newborn son Reggie-James after he was born one month early.
The former Big Brother winner shared her dramatic birth story with OK! Magazine after her waters broke ahead of schedule while dancing at her baby shower earlier this month.
She was given an emergency C-section as her unborn child was at risk of infection.
Josie told the magazine she was induced for two days but after her contractions suddenly stopped, doctors decided she needed a Caesarean.

She explained: “Reggie was born 5lbs 1oz and dropped to 4lbs. I was so scared to touch him and crying all the time. I know he was in the best place, but it was so frightening.
“He was wired up to all these machines and one of the tubes came out and the monitor went flat and made a noise like his heart had stopped. I was shouting for the nurse, but a tube had just fallen out.
“It was the best feeling in the world when we got to leave. The staff were so good. I can’t thank them enough. He might not have been with us if they hadn’t taken him to the ward when his blood sugar dropped.”

Reggie-James is Josie’s first child with boyfriend Terry.
She announced her son’s birth via Instagram, sharing a picture of her newborn in a hospital incubator.
Her caption read: “Apologies to all those people I have yet to thank and get back to. I have been in a crazy little bubble and not really with it. My waters broke at my baby shower last Wednesday and one thing lead to another…. we are delighted to announce we have a beautiful very little baby boy with the loveliest little soul.
“He came out of the Sunroof on Sunday 09/09/2018 (love his birth date) at 6.35 by the best surgeons and @ruhbath staff. I always felt in super safe hands. We have since been staying at the @dyson NICU ward at @ruhbath where the nurses and midwives have been super heroes.
“I watch them every day, how dedicated, passionate and busy they work on their 12 hour shifts and it puts me to shame. They are truly amazing. I would like to Thank Mr @dyson and his family for helping build such an amazing NICU ward. What a lovely lovely man and what a legacy.
“Reggie-James will be home soon enough. Thank you.”
Josie announced her first pregnancy in May.
She then found out live on Loose Women that she was expecting a baby boy!

Josie, who said she genuinely didn’t mind either way, was given a scan on live TV, while Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan stood next to her holding a bunch of blue balloons and a bunch of pink balloons.
When it was confirmed Josie was expecting a boy, Coleen handed her the blue bunch.
A thrilled Josie shrieked with delight, saying: “It’s a boy! I knew it! My partner will be over the moon! I feel lovely!”
“I can’t believe I have a little boy in the oven,” she added.
She has been dating property developer boyfriend Terry, 48, since last year but has declined to reveal his surname or even show his picture on social media as he wants to maintain his privacy.
“I’ve known him since I was about 14,” she said. “He’s a friend of the family. You can’t ever get bored with him! He’s brilliant.”
