Jordan Banjo’s girlfriend Naomi Courts has shared a beautiful post to mark what had originally been their newborn son’s due date.
Baby Cassius Ashley Banjo arrived in the world on May 7, a few days before he was actually due.
And doting new mum Naomi is now reflecting on just how much life has changed for her and Ashley over the last week.
She shared a photo of her newborn baby to Instagram – obscuring the little one’s face with the words, “best gift ever”.

Naomi wrote in the caption: “Happy due date baby boy ❤.
“Words cannot describe the feeling of looking into your beautiful eyes after waiting so long to finally meet you. I am beyond proud of the perfect little dream that you are.”
Naomi added: “My heart is bursting with pride and a love I didn’t even know was possible to feel for you and your amazing daddy.
“I am the luckiest girl in the world to call you both mine. My heart is so full and my world is complete. I will treasure this moment forever. You are perfect.”
Fans were quick to praise Naomi’s heartfelt words, with one advising her: “Enjoy every second beautiful! It literally goes so fast!”
Diversity dancer and Dancing On Ice backstage presenter Jordan announced the new arrival last Wednesday, saying he and Naomi wanted to keep the news to themselves for a couple of days.
Jordan, 25, told fans: “Myself and Naomi haven’t shared this straight away because we wanted to take some time to appreciate and enjoy the beautiful moment that we had as a family… but on the 07.05.2018 at 12:29am our beautiful son was born!
“Words cannot describe the feeling of seeing your future come into this world. I’m so proud of mum & baby, both are doing absolutely amazing and Naomi, you are a super woman. If I didn’t know it before, I do now, I am the luckiest man there is.
“Welcome to the world Cassius Ashley Banjo.”
The little one’s middle name, Ashley, is in honour of Jordan’s big brother and fellow Diversity star Ashley Banjo.
Ashley met the baby last week and shared a lovely photo to Instagram showing the sweet moment.
He wrote alongside the pic: “Well, what can I say little man… You’ve definitely gone one better than me on the name front 😄 I’m honoured that your mum and dad decided to include me in naming you.
“I will always do my best to look after you, your mum and your dad. I can’t wait to be a part of showing you the world 🌍!”
Jordan and Naomi, 26, announced their pregnancy back in January, revealing Naomi had taken NINE pregnancy tests just to make sure the happy news was true.
Naomi told OK! magazine: “We always said we wanted kids together, we just didn’t think it would happen this soon. We’re over the moon, though!”
