Stacey Solomon celebrated her 29th birthday on Thursday and her boyfriend Joe Swash pulled out all the stops to make her day extra special.
Joe first surprised Loose Women panellist Stacey with flowers in the morning and taking her to her “favourite restaurant” before spending the night in an unusual hotel.
The presenter took to Instagram to share a snap of himself posing alongside a “hotel plane” – basically, a hotel inside a plane. Pretty cool, right?!

He captioned the post: “Pie and mash in the morning and now a hotel plane to sleep in. Move over Casanova, Swashes in town (sic).”
Fans gushed over Joe’s romantic gesture with one person saying: “This sounds so perfect!! What a guy. You lucky girl @staceysolomon.”
Another wrote: “Perfect!! What a man. Enjoy your night,” while a third added: “I hope @staceysolomon and yourself have had a lovely day making memories. You’re a wonderful couple.”
Stacey also took to social media to gush over Joe’s birthday surprise.
She shared Joe’s post to her Instagram story, saying: He did so good! This is our hotel for the night… wahoo.”
She then posted a snap of Joe and her son Leighton, six, posing inside the plane. Her son Zachary, 10, also joined the celebrations.
Stacey wrote: “Ballin’,” followed by a laughing face emoji.
But it wasn’t long before something went slightly wrong when Joe struggled to open the plane door to get inside their hotel.
Stacey says in the clip: “Come on, open the door!” to which Joe said: “I don’t know how to do it!”
One of Stacey’s sons is then heard saying: “You’ve got to pull it to the side,” as Joe replies: “I’m doing that!”
Stacey laughed: “It all sounded like such a good idea,” before Joe finally manages to open the door.
Stacey captioned the clip: “Joe Joe’s losing it.”
Stacey later posted a video as she gave a tour of the plane hotel, which showed her sons each having their own room and bed, and Stacey and Joe having their own boudoir.
However, the following morning, Joe revealed sleeping in the plane was “one of the worst sleeps of my life”.
In a clip posted to Stacey’s Instagram story, Joe said: “Worst sleep of my life, mate. I don’t know why we decided to stay in a hotel plane. I’ve never had a good night sleep on a plane anyway.”
Stacey said: “We had a lovely night sleep!
“The thing is, there were no locks on the door so I had to have the kids in bed with me.”
Joe quipped: “Which meant I had to sleep on a plane chair.”
Stacey then posted a photo of herself, Joe and her two boys posing alongside the plane.
Earlier in the day, Stacey gushed about waking up with Joe and her boys on her birthday as they prepare to move in together.
Alongside a snap of herself, Joe and her son Leighton, Stacey said: “Happy birthday to me yaaay.
“Was imagining being surrounded by thousands of pink balloons when I woke up on a four poster bed but I’m actually sooo much happier to be waking up on a mattress on the floor surrounded by brown boxes because we are about to move in together and blend our lives together, which is the best birthday present I could have ever wished for.”

Stacey recently opened up about their plans to move in together, telling OK! Magazine: “We’re in a chain – we’re hanging around and waiting, as we both have to sell houses before we move into the new one. We’ll be staying in Essex.”
