Jamie Lomas has taken his romance with new girlfriend Portia Hughes to the next level by walking their first red carpet together.
The former Hollyoaks star, 43, and his 25-year-old partner Portia posed for the cameras while attending the launch of FriendsFest – a festival dedicated to the Friends sitcom – in Manchester on Tuesday.
Jamie looked proud as punch as he stood with his arm around Portia, who beamed for the cameras.

Portia also uploaded a snap to her Instagram Stories showing Jamie lounging on one of the FriendsFest sets, getting himself comfortable in Chandler and Joey’s old apartment.
It’s believed the smitten couple met on the Hollyoaks set, as Portia’s Instagram bio says she works on the Channel 4 soap’s production team.
Jamie and Portia were joined at FriendsFest at Manchester’s Heaton Park by a slew of other soap stars including Coronation Street’s Tina O’Brien and Lucy Fallon.
Former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett was also in attendance, marking her return to the red carpet after her stock racing car crash at the end of July.
Comedy Central’s FriendsFest has already taken place in Glasgow and Newcastle, and will travel to Bristol, Brighton and London later this summer.
The event is basically a haven for Friends fans featuring sets and props from the show, episode screenings and food and drink.
Jamie and Portia went public with their romance earlier this week, sharing pictures to their individual Instagram accounts showing them cuddling up together.
Jamie wrote on his photo: “Sometimes in life you win the lottery.”
A post shared to Portia’s account also showed the couple together, this time posing during a night out in Liverpool.
Jamie didn’t add any details about Portia or how they met, but the fact she works on Hollyoaks and he’s a former Hollyoaks star is pretty telling!
Jamie quit his role as Warren Fox on Hollyoaks last year, saying he wanted to explore other opportunities including a stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle over in Australia.
He briefly returned earlier this year for a fleeting appearance.
According to The Sun, Jamie and Portia are “getting quite serious”.
A source said: “Jamie and Portia have been dating for some time, they seem to be really loved up.”
Jamie was previously married to Coronation Street star Kym Marsh.
He and Kym share daughter Polly, seven.
Jamie also has son Billy, 12, from a previous relationship.

Earlier this year, he sparked rumours he was dating former Miss Scotland Nicola Mimnagh after they were spied enjoying dinner together.
