The 25-year-old mum also looked incredibly happy and grateful to have her young one back to health.

Jamie posted a sweet message to her fans on Instagram: “Thanks to the amazing first responders, and medical teams at University and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA, we are headed home with our baby girl as she continues to recover.

“Above all else we are so thankful for each and every prayer, because we know that is what truly made the difference. Thank you again to everyone. We are truly blessed🙏”

This comes after a spokesperson told People magazine that she had finally regained consciousness.

It said: “With her father, mother and stepfather by her side, Maddie regained consciousness mid-day Tuesday, February 7.

“The 8-year-old daughter of entertainer Jamie Lynn Spears was involved in an ATV accident at a family home Sunday in Kentwood, La. Paramedics resuscitated her and she was airlifted to a local hospital.

“She is aware of her surroundings and recognises those family members who have kept a round-the-clock vigil since the accident.”

It continued: “Doctors were able to remove the ventilator today and she is awake and talking. Maddie continues to receive oxygen and is being monitored closely but it appears that she has not suffered any neurological consequences from the accident.”
