Derek Hough isn’t closing the door completely on a potential return to ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
But the big question is, will he be back for Season 26?
In an interview with Access Hollywood alongside his best friend and fellow DWTS pro-Mark Ballas earlier this week, Derek revealed whether or not he would step back into the ballroom for the show's upcoming mini-season.
"I honestly will never say never,” he said.
Derek then added that although he would like to eventually return to Dancing with the Stars, it wouldn't be for the show's upcoming season 26.
“I love the show so much but I'm very, very excited about the second season of World of Dance. There are two-hour episodes now, 13 episodes.
“We have amazing dancers. It's gonna be incredible.
We're filming next week so I'm excited," Derek said to Access Hollywood.
Derek first appeared on Dancing with the Stars in Season four as a guest instructor.
He later joined the series as a pro in Season five.
He is the most awarded pro, having won the show's iconic mirrorball trophy six times.
Derek will be seen as a judge on NBC’s World of Dance alongside Jennifer Lopez and Ne-Yo and host Jenna Dewan-Tatum for the show’s second season.
The show will air sometime in 2018.
Dancing with the Stars returns with a four-week mini-season beginning April 30 on ABC.
