Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon broke Tonight Show records with a skit promoted on the singer’s social media account.
JT posted a quick photo on his Instagram account asking fans to tune in to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Aug. 9.
The post read, “Not all superheroes wear capes. Tune into Fallon tonight!”
The photo depicted the outfit Justin wears during the duo’s infamous Camp Winnipesaukee skits.
However, Justin was not listed as one of the entertainers for the evening’s show.
The official guests were dancer Derek Hough and singer Jessie Reyez.
Perhaps due to that post, the show enjoyed its highest Tuesday night ratings with viewers aged 18-49 in the show’s history.
Comedian Keegan-Michael Key portrayed their quirky camp counselor and actor Billy Crystal played a kid from another camp.
The skit began with Jimmy and Justin as campers in the year 1993 who want to have a little fun after lights out.
The twosome then sing into their flashlight-microphones, beginning with the 1990s tune from 4 Non Blondes titled "What's Up."
In the midst of the singing, camp counselor Keegan-Michael comes in and tells them they have to “stop the ruckus" or they will miss out on soup at the Snack Shack the next day.
The two almost broke character when Justin joked about being allergic to nuts as he and Jimmy then shined their flashlights on the counselor’s crotch.
The finale of the skit added Billy to the mix, as they all sang the 1987 Gloria Estefan tune “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You.”
In less than 24 hours, the sketch was viewed more than one million times on YouTube.

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on NBC.
