Harry Styles devastated by death of his stepfather

Robin came into Harry's life when the singer was a teenager

Harry Styles has been left devastated following the death of his stepfather Robin Twist.

It has been reported that the singer’s stepdad lost his battle with cancer this week – at the age of just 57.

A representative for Harry has told The Sun: “Harry’s stepfather, Robin Twist, sadly passed away this week after a long battle with cancer.

“The family asks for privacy at this time.”

Robin helped to raise Harry, now 23, and his sister Gemma, through their teenage years.

He married their mum, Anne Cox, in 2013 – and Harry was best man.

He leaves behind two children, Mike and Amy, from his previous marriage.

In December of last year, Harry’s former 1D bandmate Louis Tomlinson lost his mother, Johanna Deakin.

She was aged just 43 and had been battling leukaemia.

The star went ahead with his debut solo performance at The X Factor final in tribute to his late mother.

News of Robin’s death comes shortly after it’s been reported that Harry has split from his girlfriend, food blogger Tess Ward.

According to The Sun, Tess has rekindled her relationship with a former lover after her romance with Hazza fizzled out.

A source told the paper: “Harry and Tess haven’t seen each other for a number of weeks. They’re both constantly travelling the world.

“Tess realised she still had feelings for her ex after splitting from him to date Harry and has apologised to him for her romance with the singer.

“It will take a while for Tess to build back his trust but they have been getting on as normal.

“She was in London this week and met her ex straight away — they’ve been inseparable since.”
