Christmas cheers all round! Whoop!

But wait, there isn’t just one episode. No, no, there’s TWO! This will give us two more chances to hear the judges chat about soggy bottoms and whopping loaves.

As soon Wednesday’s episode had finished, the team at GBBO took to Twitter to share the good news: “Deck the tent with bakes of holly! Paul, Mary, Mel and Sue will return to BBC One for two special new episodes of #GBBO this Christmas.”

There haven’t been any hints or previews to what this wonderful show may entail. What if there’s a reunion of ALL the previous winners over the seven seasons? Now, that would be a Bake Off.

Lipstick-addict Candice Brown won this years show and was overwhelmed with it all.

“When they said my name, that means more to me than anyone will ever realise,” she gushed, after millions of viewers saw her take the title after producing a bevvy of tasty delights including an impressive three-tiered pavlova and “an absolute humdinger of a showstopper” of a 49-piece royal picnic.

She’s got skills that’s for sure.

However, one of the real winners of the show was Selasi Gbormittah. He melted everybody’s hearts! Even Paul Hollywood’s.

Plus, what was really amazing was the fact that he held GBBO viewing parties at his house and on Wednesday had everybody over to watch the final.
