Geri Horner slammed by fans after jokingly slapping husband

The ex Spice Girl hit him after he poured water over her

Geri Horner spent some quality time with her husband and family during the heatwave but fans were not impressed.

The Spice Girl posted a video of herself having fun in the sun with her beau Christian, whom she married in 2015.

She’s seen dancing in tiny denim shorts and a rolled up white t-shirt, when he ruins her fun by pouring water over her.

Shocked that he would do such a thing, the 44-year-old turns to him and slapped him around the face – with barely even a touch.

Christian, 43, then slaps her on the bottom.

But her fans didn’t like what she did at all.

“Sad you would slap your husbands face not once but twice Not Cool be a better example for your fans”, said one.

Another added: “I think it’s not good to slap your husband face , even if you were kidding! Maybe he’s not gonna say anything to you but it hurts . It’s my opinion”

And one nasty follower said: “You look and act little girl”

Oh, please! They’re just having fun.

Of course, the singer had plenty of adoring fans too.

“You both look genuinely happy😍😍 plus you look amazing!!”, said one.

One sweet follower wrote: “Absolutely gorgeous couple. Love this 😂😂 xx #favouritespicegirl xx”

Geri has recently made a musical comeback, and has released a single called Angel in Chains which is dedicated to the late great George Michael, who died on Christmas Day aged 53.

The pair were close, so she wanted to keep his memory going by releasing a song after 12 years being away from the spotlight.

Geri has also now been open with the real reason why she quit the Spice Girls.

Chatting to The Sun, she admitted that it was the group’s decision to make an R&B album that she couldn’t support.

“Sometimes you have to give people space… They had to make that R&B album, which I’m not.

“I don’t know how to write R&B music, I really don’t. I don’t have that. So they did that album and made a very good album, it had to be done and that’s quite right, as an artist you want to explore.”
