Toni told The Sun: “She’s very poorly but she’s stable.

“Everybody at Southmead Hospital has been amazing, they have been working 24/7 to make sure she is alright.

“I would like to thank everyone in Clevedon for praying for our daughter.”

She added: “They have been holding church services, Bristol’s Buddha centre has also been helping – everybody across different religions have been so amazing.”

She went on to say Harriet was just “in the wrong place, at the wrong time”.

George, 23, has not yet commented on his sister’s condition.

The young star rose to fame after auditioning for The X Factor in 2011 before joining boy band Union J in 2012.

And now George is focusing on his solo career after coming third on I’m A Celebrity.

Meanwhile the singer recently went public with his model boyfriend in a series of Instagram snaps.

A source previously told The Sun: “George and Matthew have been together for several months now. They have been enjoying each other’s company and having fun together.

“It is still early days but George feels a lot for Matthew. He is really happy to have found someone like Matt to spend time with.”
