George Michael’s lover denies funeral ban with moving tribute pic

Fadi Fawaz hits out at claims about his relationship with the singer

The argument about who is attending the funeral of superstar singer George Michael, continues to rumble on.

This time, George’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz has hit back at the singer’s family.

He has also denied that he has been banned from the funeral.

Posting on Twitter, Fadi shared a loving picture of him with George.

In the snap, George is seen kissing Fadi and his boyfriend captioned it: “This image says it all”

Fadi also used Twitter to tackle claims that he was not welcome at George’s funeral.

He wrote: “Let me make it clear that I’M NOT BANNED TO GO TO THE FUNERAL none of it is true, ITS NOT TRUE, NOT TRUE NOT TRUE NOT TRUE”

This all comes at a time where a delay in toxicology tests mean that the family still cannot have George’s body released.

It will be over three months since his death before George is finally laid to rest.

The Sun on Sunday has also reported that George’s assets will be frozen as an executor is appointed to manage his estate.

The Wham singer’s fortune comes in at a whopping £105 million but the delays could leave Fadi facing eviction from the multi-million pound house that he enjoyed living in with George.

A source close to the family, told the Sun on Sunday: “Everyone is upset and mystified by the delay.

“They just don’t understand why it is taking so long.

“It is really upsetting that George is still lying in the morgue when people want to say goodbye to him.”

The source continued: “Lawyers and the executor will effectively turn off the tap on spending.

“Meaning the gas and electric could be cut off and Fadi made to leave.”
