Gemma Atkinson and Anthony Quinlan have joined their Strictly partners Gorka Marquez and Dianne Buswell for some fun in the sun on a Spanish cruise.
It’s a working holiday for the Strictly dancers, who are performing for the ship’s guests in the evening along with AJ Pritchard and Chloe Hewitt.
But the Instagram accounts of all the stars reveal they are still having plenty of downtime to enjoy the company of their other halves.
When the boat docked, the group visited Alicante and they shared a snap of them by a harbour with their Instagram followers.
“Day release, out with the gang in Alicante,” wrote Emmerdale actor Anthony of the snap, while Gemma captioned the same shot as a “fun day”.
The former Hollyoaks actress also shared a picture of her and boyfriend Gorka enjoying some frozen yogurt during their time on dry land.
Gemma, Gorka, Dianne and Anthony have all been sharing love-up snaps since the cruise started.
Both couples met on the last series of Strictly, where Gemma was a contestant, and Gorka danced with Alexandra Burke and Dianne with Rev Richard Coles.
She met Anthony after he came along to support Gemma, his friend and former soap co-star.
In her first picture on Instagram with Anthony on the cruise around the Med, Dianne wrote: “Night number 1 on the azura strictly themed cruise! Can’t wait to perform and I’m so happy to have this one here with me.”
He shared the same image writing: “Few days away with this absolute stunner.”
The following evening, the pair celebrated his birthday.
“He gets better with age. Lovely night on the ship celebrating @anthonyquinny birthday,” she wrote sharing an image of the couple dressed up for dinner.
In a further photo of their time on the mainland, she wrote: “Amazing day in Alicante beach sun ice cream paella and this lad @anthonyquinny.”
Meanwhile, Gemma, 33, has also shared numerous pictures with her Instagram followers as they took to the high seas.
In the first she wrote: “So me and @anthonyquinny have tagged along on @diannebuswell and @gorka_marquez #StrictlyCruise They persuaded us with ‘it’s free food and drink’.”
Her other pictures show her and Gorka, who she met on last year’s Strictly, looking loved up on a “date night” and sunbathing on the deck.
“Constantly wearing the smile you gave me @gorka_marquez,” Gemma writes beside one picture of the pair holding glasses of fizz.
Poor AJ seems a little lonely in comparison to the two new Strictly couples, as most of the images of the trip he’s shared are selfies of him alone on the cruise ship and at the beach!
Bury-born Gemma told her Instagram followers she was delighted to be on the sunshine trip with Gorka.
“No idea where I am but it’s warm and sunny so I’m chuffed,” she wrote beside one selfie, where the crystal blue waves can be seen lapping at the boat behind her.
In another post, she admitted she was loving life at sea.

“I’m a Scorpio so I’ve always been a water baby, but now after this cruise even more so. Hearing the ocean continuously for 4 days has been a joy,” she wrote.
“I think I could live by the sea,” she added.
Gorka was also delighted to back near his homeland writing: “Finally some Spanish Sun!! @glouiseatkinson #chuffed #summer,” beside a snap of him and Gemma soaking up some rays.
Later in the evening, proud Gemma shared live clips of Gorka dancing for the cruisers with Dianne and their fellow dancers AJ Pritchard and Chloe Hewitt.
She turned the camera to show her and Anthony excitedly watch their partners take to the stage.
It wasn’t all relaxing for Gemma though. The fitness fan also made sure she hit the gym with Gorka during their stay.
She told her fans she had to keep in shape as she has an upcoming fitness-related project she’ll be able to tell them about soon.
She teased: “I have big news coming in the summer regarding my fitness interests and ventures and I cannot wait to share it all with you.”
