Viewers of The One Show were in shock last night when Gary Barlow suddenly got up and walked off set.

Gaz was on the show with Mark Owen and Howard Donald to discuss their new album and tour when suddenly he piped up and said to his bandmates:  “Can I leave you two to it?

“I don’t feel very well.”

Taken aback, Angela and the boys watched Gary get up and shuffle off set.

But as they say, the show must go on and Angela expertly guided the boys back into the conversation about their future tour plans.

However, a concerned Mark seemed distracted and, said as Gary disappeared, ‘It feels a bit weird with him not feeling well.’

When Howard reassured everyone that Gary was fine, Angela quipped, “You’re used to people dipping in and out,” referring cheekily to Robbie Williams and Jason Orange leaving and returning to the band every so often.

Later Gary explained why he was feeling queasy, admitting that the heat in their dressing room had affected him.

“Thank you all for the messages,” he wrote.  “I’m absolutely fine.

“We had a very hot dressing room and I thought I was gong to faint on live TV!”

However, Howard added: “Please don’t worry about Gary. He told me he was touching cloth before he went on.

“He obviously went off to lay one. X”

Meanwhile, in more Take That news, the band say that while they might not be marking their 25th anniversary next year, they do plan a huge tour to mark their 30th anniversary in 2023.

“We’ve had two record labels in our time and I know they’re talking about doing some kind of commemorative big box set, of all the music, around this Christmas,” he told the Sun.

“But we can definitely tell you there are no plans for touring next year.”
