Fans of Gary Barlow thought they’d gone back (in time) for good when they visited the Take That star’s Instagram feed yesterday.
There, in front of them, was a picture of what looked like Gary as a fresh-faced teenager.
Only, this wasn’t the Never Forget singer but his teenage son – and Gary’s followers wasted no time in expressing their shock at the uncanny resemblance.
Gary, 47, and his wife Dawn are the proud parents of three children, the oldest of which is Dan.
And with his only son’s 18th birthday approaching fast, the singer decided to pay tribute with a rare picture of the lad.
In the shot, Dan looks every bit as handsome as his dad was at that age, as he pouts at the camera in a smart dinner jacket and bow tie.
Gary captioned the shot: “Nearly 18. Where does the time go? So proud of our son #family #dan.”

And we reckon that if he hadn’t, his fans would’ve been convinced it was Gary himself!
“I thought this was a throwback picture!” one follower gasped in reaction to Gaz’s comment.
Another agreed: “Good grief, he’s your double.”
And a third gushed: “Wow, he looks sooooo much like you!!! Gorgeous!! Like father, like son.”
Gary is on a nationwide solo tour at the moment, and last month he surprised his Instagram followers when he revealed what he misses the most while he’s away from home.
Alongside a picture of some recipe collections, he wrote: “I do love a cook book. Touring life is great but there’s nothing like your own bed and your own kitchen. #homecooking.”

Well, judging by his latest post, it sounds like he misses his son, too…
