And he won't be the only soap star in the show!

Manchester-born Adam has signed up to play a Hollywood producer in the Christmas show Nativity! The Musical.

He’ll perform at Liverpool’s Empire Theatre from 31 October to 4 November, and at the Regent Theatre in Stoke on Trent from 5-8 December.

But he’s not the only famous face who’ll be taking on the part.

EastEnders stars Charlie Brooks (Nottingham, 21-25 November) and Jake Wood (Oxford, 11-15 December) will be having a go at it, too.

Based on the 2009 film starring Martin Freeman, Nativity! The Musical follows a primary-school teacher and his assistant as they attempt to produce a school play that’ll be worthy of a Hollywood movie.

Adam played Adam Barton in Emmerdale for nine years and also appeared in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! two years ago.

Meanwhile, he’ll be cheering on older brother Ryan, 34, in Monday night’s Celebrity Big Brother finale.

Former Coronation Street star Ryan will go up against Kirstie Alley, Nick Leeson, Dan Osborne, Gabby Allen and Psychic Sally in the public vote.

It’s not been the easiest road to the final for Ryan, who broke down in tears when housemate Roxanne Pallett accused him of punching her during what appeared to be a play fight.

Roxanne, who later quit the show, has since issued a public apology to Ryan, saying she “got it wrong”.

She told Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine show: “I massively apologise to not just Ryan, but his family, his friends, his fans and every single person that watched that and completely and justifiably saw an overreaction to what wasn’t a malicious act.

“I can’t apologise enough to Ryan and everybody attached to him. I hope people can forgive me and Ryan can forgive me in time.”
