Faryal Makhdoom vows to raise Amir Khan’s unborn baby alone after the couple decide to divorce

She announced her pregnancy on Twitter

Their very public argument over Twitter got everyone talking recently as boxer Amir Khan and his wife Faryal accused each other of cheating.

They have decided to call time on their four-year marriage but the shocking Twitter revelations were yet to end, as Faryal revealed just days ago that she is pregnant with Amir’s second child. It’s a bit of a messy situation to say the least!

She tweeted: “Alhumdulilah, blessed with baby number 2 in my tummy. Excited, eating away, can’t stop.” The revelation received over 1,000 retweets.

It is reported that Faryal, who owns a makeup line, has vowed to raise their second child on her own as she does not want the support of her estranged husband. She reportedly told friends: “I don’t need his help.”

A source told The Sun: “Faryal’s announcement came as a shock to everyone involved but she doesn’t want anything more from Amir now.

“They’re back on speaking terms, trying to keep everything civilised for the sake of their daughter and extended families, but the relationship is finished.

“She has told him she will happily bring up their new child without his support, and the divorce is going ahead.

“She’s a strong woman — and the pregnancy isn’t going to change that.”

Earlier this month the former couple took to Twitter to air their dirty laundry, with Amir accusing his wife of cheating on him with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua. Anthony was quick to respond to the allegations and said that he has never met Faryal in his life.

That’s when Faryal fought back and said that while Amir was in Dubai he was sleeping with a prostitute. Although he hasn’t addressed those allegations the two were at it like cat and dog, throwing accusations around like they were on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

The pair already have one child together, three-year-old Lamaisah.

It was recently reported by The Sun that Islamic Sharia law expert Pir Shaami will mediate their break-up during a series of planned meetings with the pair.

A family friend of the Khans told the paper: “To Amir he explained what the rights of women are, what his wrong doings were and why he should seek forgiveness.

“To Faryal he has said she has equal share to blame for the deterioration of relations and that she has been wrong too.”
