Adam Thomas tied the knot with Caroline Daly in a romantic ceremony on August 27.
The newlyweds got engaged back in 2015 after Emmerdale star Adam popped the question during a family holiday in Dubai.
Now the actor, 29, has shared a message about the “wonderful” day and admitted he is “so content with life right now.”

He tweeted his 324K Twitter followers: “I’m so content with life right now everything is just perfect so lucky! Thank you to everyone who came yesterday and making it a wonderful day x.”
Fans rushed to congratulate the gorgeous couple with one saying: “Yay congrats to a gorgeous couple, can’t wait to see the special day.”
Another added: “Massive congratulations, extremely happy for you both.. now here’s to the future as husband and wife!”
A third wrote: “Awww massive congrats to you and the new Mrs Thomas.”
Shortly before their big day Adam took to Instagram to share a throwback snap of him and Caroline when they first met.
Uploading a photo of them both nine years ago, Adam wrote: “That first pic and first time we ever met … who would of thought it … ❤️ #9yrs #wifetobe.”
His devoted followers gushed over the super sweet pic and begged the star to share their wedding snaps after their special day.
One said: “Aww that’s very sweet, have an amazing wedding day.”
“Post pictures of your wedding, I would love to see them,” another commented.
A third added: “Have a lovely day tomorrow both of you. I’m sure your little Teddy will be smiling seeing his mummy and daddy finally tie the knot.”
Adam got down on one knee two years ago to ask his long-term partner to be his wife.
Speaking about the proposal Adam told OK! Magazine previously: “On the day I was going to propose, Caroline described her perfect engagement ring and it was exactly the same as the one I had bought.
“I thought she’d seen the ring – I was absolutely gutted.”
Caroline said: “I was gobsmacked – I cried. For a while I couldn’t even speak as I was so choked up.
“It felt like we had been in this bubble. I looked around and Ted was covered head to toe in tomato ketchup.”
The pair have been giving fans glimpses into their wedding preparations over the past few weeks.
Adam, who plays Adam Barton in the soap, told fans he was writing his wedding speech alongside a snap showing his laptop with the speech typed out last week.
The star wrote: “I’m trying hahaha genuinely fell asleep reading it but got the approval from the twin so it’s looking good so far!! 😬😬 #ginnspeech #notlong#lastmin.”
One follower wrote: “Good luck! I’m sure your speech will be just beautiful!❤️.”
Meanwhile Caroline shared a photo of herself holding a ‘Mrs Thomas’ clothes hanger.
She captioned the post: “Not long now until I’m Mrs Thomas! Love this personalised dress hanger @gettingpersonal sent me #weddings #bridetobe #mrstobe#weddinghanger.”
At the end of last month Adam jetted off to Ibiza with his two brothers, Love Island star Scott and former Coronation Street actor Ryan, and some of his close pals for his stag do.
The lads enjoyed a wild few days soaking up the sun on the island alongside a bunch of their other friends including Emmerdale’s Danny Miller, EastEnders star Dean Gaffney and ex-Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher.
Dean, who plays Robbie Jackson in Albert Square, uploaded a snap showing all the lads in a bar on the island.
With their sunnies on and drinks firmly in their hands the lads seemed to be having an amazing time.
Dean captioned the post: “Lads Lads Lads.”

Writing on Twitter after his wild stay in Ibiza, Adam said: “On a stag do, just so happens to be mine. Crazy! Feel like I’ve just picked up my GCSEs like, yesterday, and next month I’ll be a married man.”
