Fadi Fawaz, the boyfriend of the late George Michael, has shocked followers of his Twitter account with a vile message about the star on his feed.

The disturbing tweet, which was posted on Fadi’s feed at 1.38pm on August 4, read: “George I hate you.”

His followers were quick to react to the hateful message, with one poster saying she was ‘disgusted’ and hurt’ by the comment, while another branded it ‘disrespectful’.

However, another Twitter user pulled up an earlier tweet from Fadi where he said he had been hacked on August 1st.

“I was informed my emails been hacked so pls if you see any emails from my account any where do inform me asap. Many thanks” he wrote at the time.

At the time of writing, Fadi has offered no explanation himself about the tweet, but just minutes after it was posted, another, more cryptic message followed, saying:

“Your power proved to me you could make a town not react to loud noise at odd hours.

“Your power proved to me you could turn friends, family and strangers into liars, cowards and very much inhuman and yet this mega-power can’t make or keep someone kind or loving. And I cannot wait to prove that to you. With all my hate.”

The 45 year old found George dead in bed at Christmas in 2016, and many newspapers have speculated he is now locked in a bitter battle with the singer’s family over his fortune.

He is thought to still be living in one of George’s London homes, and raised eyebrows back in April by sharing a bailiff’s notice on Twitter which he said had been left at the property after agents came to collect money for an outstanding debt.

The now deleted tweet was accompanied by the text: “Darling they have come to take your furniture coz I couldn’t afford the fine. But don’t worry I didn’t open the door for them.”

He later posted offering items of George’s for sale, and inviting journalists to interview him, claiming he had to do something in order to survive until he solved ‘the problems with his family and lawyer’.
