Peter Andre’s wife buys him a DNA testing kit for Christmas

But what will it uncover?

While a lot of men were getting tie pins and pairs of socks for Christmas, Peter Andre had something rather more unusual waiting for him under the tree.

The Mysterious Girl singer, 44, enjoyed a cosy festive period with his wife of two years, Emily, their two young children, and also Peter’s two from his previous marriage to Katie Price.

And when it came to choosing a pressie for her man, Emily came up with something a little bit different to the norm – a DNA testing kit.

Emily, 28, wrote in her column for OK! magazine: “I got him a DNA testing kit so he could investigate his heritage. He’s always wondering where his ancestors are from, so he absolutely loved it.

“He’s hard to buy for, so I was really pleased. He got quite spoilt this year!”

In her column, Mrs Andre also laughed off claims that she was expecting another baby.

Peter set tongues wagging when he posted a festive picture of the couple, with Emily sporting a bump.

But she explained that the snap had been taken back in 2013, just before she gave birth to their first child, Amelia.

And she insisted that she has no intention of adding to the Andre brood in the future.

She wrote: “I can confirm that I’m not [pregnant] and I still haven’t changed my mind about having another baby!”

As for Peter, he seems pretty thrilled with what he’s already got. Earlier this week, the singer shared a gorgeous picture of him and his one-year-old son, Theo, enjoying a festive stroll.

Alongside it, he wrote: “Great day with the two kids and Emily at the farm. Just great :)).”

Last month, Peter’s ex, Katie Price, expressed her heartbreak at not being able to spend Christmas with the former couple’s two kids Princess and Junior – especially with her mum having been diagnosed with a terminal lung condition.

The mum-of-five told Reveal magazine: “This could be my mum’s last Christmas, and Princess and Junior won’t be there. I’m gutted.

“We don’t have Junior and Princess because they share it with their dad, so it won’t be as exciting as usual. I wish we could share Christmas Day with them. But it’s one year with him, the other with me.”
