Davina McCall’s latest Instagram post sparks concern from fans

Followers worry about her weight

Davina McCall has released no fewer than 14 fitness DVDs, so it’s clear she knows a thing or two about working out.

But a recent Instagram photo has sparked a wave of concern from her worried followers, who think she may have been taking her latest regime too far.

The image shows Davina wearing a tiny bikini and a pair of trainers, as well as a beaming grin.

She captioned the shot: “Cozzie and trainers and a smidgen of underboob (I’m all give…) I was a brownie, it was there that I learned ‘be prepared’.”

The presenter is currently on holiday in Australia visiting her sister, alongside children Holly, 16, Tilly, 14 and Chester, 11.

However, fans were concerned about Davina’s appearance, with one asking Davina not to lose any more weight.

Another said: “I have always thought you look amazing Davina but this pic did make me gasp. It could just be the angle. All for fitness and health but this pic doesn’t reflect a good image.”

Other followers praised the image, saying Davina was a poster-girl for healthy living and was looking great.

One commented: “She’s in her 50s now I read. Some of these body shaming comments disgust me. She’s worked so hard to retain muscle and lose fat! Unreal.”

While another said: “Wowzers! What a bod.”

In November, Davina announced that she and husband Matthew Robertson had separated after 17 years’ marriage.

In a statement announcing the split, Davina said: “I am very sad to say that Matthew and I have separated.”

“Our amazing children are our number one priority, above everything else so therefore we ask for as much space and respect from the media as possible while our family goes through this difficult time.”

Earlier this month Davina made her first public appearance without her wedding ring, attending the Grassroots Soccer Annual Charity Gala in London.
