Danniella Westbrook ‘fears she will die NEXT WEEK’

Ex soap star worried she's 'running out of time' to reunite with estranged daughter

| Updated:

Daniella Westbrook is believed to be desperate to reunite with her teenage daughter amid fears she may not survive her upcoming hysterectomy.

According to the Daily Star Sunday, the former soap star is said to have “a feeling” she will die during the op after revealing her womb cancer diagnosis two weeks ago.

It is reported Danniella is worried she may run out of time to reunite with estranged Jody, 17, who lives with her dad ahead of the procedure – believed to be scheduled for next week.

The 44-year-old recently confessed it had crossed her mind that she might have preferred not to have known about her diagnosis.

She admitted to being terrified of dying from the same disease that killed pal and Big Brother contestant Jade Goody.

But the troubled TV personality told the Mirror she decided not to be “selfish” and try to beat her health worries for the sake of her kids.

“I’ve tried to commit suicide before but getting this diagnosis has made me realise I don’t want to die,” she said to the newspaper.

However, an unnamed source has now told the Star Danniella is concerned surgery “will be too much for her”, even though her supportive friends have taken the fact her cancer was spotted early as a big positive.

“Dan has this gut feeling that she won’t outrun this,” the source stated.

They continued: “She just wants to see Jody.”

Mum-of-two Danniella previously said doctors first thought she may be pregnant after discovering a tangerine-sized clot in her womb.

Danniella’s symptoms began around 18 months ago when she was suffering from bad periods.

Initially dismissing them as signs she was going through the menopause, Danniella ended up going on a two-day bender to numb the pain of the diagnosis after she was finally informed by a medic in Spain what was happening to her body.

“I shouldn’t have done it and it’s not right, there is no excuse to take Class A drugs,” Danniella told the Mirror.

“At the end of the day I realise I am an addict and I was despairing.”
