She’s currently looking for The One on Love Island and according to reports, Dani Dyer once found a relationship closer to home thanks to her famous father.
The 22-year-old apparently once dated Sam Strike, who played Johnny Carter in EastEnders, according to The Sun.
Sam played the on-screen son of her father Danny Dyer’s character Mick between 2013-14.
According to the tabloid, Dani and Sam began dating back in 2015 after they grew closer when both appearing in the gangster movie Bonded By Blood 2.
A source told The Sun on Sunday at the time: “As soon as Dani and Sam met, thanks to Danny, they hit it off.
“It was a bit of a coincidence, but luckily for them Danny didn’t mind. He found it funny and fully supported them.”
It seems any dating did not turn into anything more serious though, as a Love Island spokesman told ED!: “Dani and Sam were never boyfriend and girlfriend. He is ‘part of the family’ though and they remain close.”
Before going on Love Island, Dani said she’d been single for two years.

Speaking of her previous relationships, she said: “I haven’t had many exes. I’ve had two serious relationships. My last boyfriend would say I was loyal, as we were loving to each other.”
Dani’s rep declined to comment when contacted by ED!
ED! has also contacted Sam’s rep for a comment.
Sam was replaced on EastEnders by actor Ted Reilly after he left Albert Square to pursue a career in Hollywood.
Since then he’s had parts in films such as Leatherface and Netflix series Mindhunter.
Meanwhile, Dani is currently soaking up the sun in the Love Island villa in Majorca, where she has been paired with Jack Fincham, 26, from Kent.
She’s been impressed by his pearly white teeth but was disappointed to recently learn he cheated on his previous two girlfriends.
Dani has previously stated that she can’t tolerate infidelity.
“The thought of cheating – it’s so deceitful. I’ve had it in a relationship,” she said. “I just think ‘if you don’t want to be with the person, just leave them’.”
She added: “I don’t like cheating, and I’ve never cheated. I think personally as much as I could forgive, I couldn’t forget. That person would have lost my faith in them.”

Jack’s revelation came out as the group participated in a saucy game on last night’s episode where one girl had to snog the boy they believed had committed the love crime.
When the cheater was revealed to be Jack, Dani was disappointed that he defended himself by saying he’d “only had two girlfriends”, rather than being remorseful.
